2010 Award Winner

The 2010 NCLR Administrative Leadership Award winner was announced by Alice Lubrecht, chair of NCLR and Director of the State Library of Pennsylvania on April 18, 2010. Dr. Gregory S. Powell, President of Panola College, was selected as the 2010 recipient. NCLR presents the award each year to one community college administrator in the nation whose efforts have resulted in significant support for a learning resources program.

NCLR Administrative
Leadership Award


The Scholarship/Award Committee of the National Council for Learning Resources seeks annual nominations for the NCLR Administrative Leadership Award. This award, which began in 1994, honors a community college administrator whose efforts have resulted in significant support for a learning resources program.

Presentation of the NCLR Administrative Leadership Award has become a highlight of the annual convention of the American Association of Community Colleges. The recipient receives a commemorative award and a $500 scholarship for his/her institution.
