We, the students of Spokane Community College, wishing to foster a greater commitment to academic achievement, leadership, and improve the human condition, adopt this and thus have created Beta Epsilon Iota, a chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society of the two-year college.

The purpose of Beta Epsilon Iota is to provide for the promotion of scholarship, development of leadership and service, and cultivation of fellowship for Spokane Community College students. Students at Spokane Community College who have met the eligibility requirements of a Grade Point Average of 3.6 or above while taking fifteen (15) or more credits of college level classes are offered membership.alsdhflkjasdlfka
