SCC and CCS recognize diversity, global engagement, and social responsibility as compelling educational and institutional priorities. We strive to foster students' understanding of the intersection between domestic and global issues and their sense of responsibility as local and global citizens.
Students admitted Fall Quarter 2003 and later who are pursuing an A.A. degree are required to take at least 5 credits in global/diversity courses. These courses can be identified in the quarterly class schedule by a ^D following the course title.
To assist your schedule planning, a list of qualifying courses is included. Additional courses will be added as they become available.
